HIMA can offer you the right solution, giving you maximum availability with calculable maintenance and repair costs throughout the entire life-cycle of your plant: the system maintenance agreement.
Our experienced service engineers will work with you to draw up a comprehensive maintenance plan which takes into account all of the stipulations, requirements and standards. The inspection, maintenance and repair work will then be performed in compliance with IEC 61508.
This includes:
- Checking and servicing modules, back-up modules and wearing parts.
- Checking peripheral devices and the technical surroundings.
- Updating and optimising the hardware and software.
System maintenance includes incorporating any revisions to the system documentation which is relevant to your plant into the project documentation, and – if required – training your operating staff in the maintenance routines. Optimum maintenance intervals
Our experts will determine your plant’s optimum maintenance intervals using the various standards and technical specifications applicable to the components involved. We recommend:
- Changing batteries and fans every four years.
- Changing capacitors every eight years.
- A proof-check using PFD figures every ten years.
